How does the advisor matching process work?
When you sign up, we collect information about your financial situation, goals, and preferences. Our algorithm uses this to match you with up to 5 advisors who are aligned with your needs. You can then review their profiles and reach out to those you'd like to speak with - no obligation to proceed with any of them.
Is Habits free to use as a consumer?
Yes, completely free. Habits is free for anyone looking for financial advice. Advisors pay a subscription to access qualified prospects through the platform - you never pay anything to use Habits or to connect with an advisor.
How do I reset my password or access my account?
Visit app.usehabits.com/login and click "Forgot password." Enter the email address you signed up with and we'll send you a reset link. If you run into trouble, email us at concierge@usehabits.com and we'll get you back in.
Are the advisors on Habits vetted?
Yes. Every advisor on the platform goes through a standard background check before they can receive prospect matches. Habits is also SOC 2 Type II certified, meaning our security and data handling practices have been independently audited. You can view our compliance details here.
I'm a financial advisor - how do I get support?
Annual plan advisors and Monthly plan advisors with Enhanced Support have access to a dedicated account manager and expedited support. You can reach your account manager directly, or email us at concierge@usehabits.com. Not yet on a plan? Get started here.
How do I cancel or change my subscription?
You can manage your subscription from your account dashboard. If you'd like to cancel or switch plans, email us at concierge@usehabits.com and our team will take care of it. Monthly plans can be cancelled at any time with no penalty.
What are your support hours?
Our team is available Monday to Friday, 9am - 6pm ET. Emails sent outside of those hours will be answered on the next business day. For advisors on Annual or Enhanced Support plans, your dedicated account manager may have extended availability.
